Add Review/CommentStudents will learn what it was like to be a child of with the work responsibilities in the 1800s. They will do chores such as make butter and dip candles, string beans, make braids, wash clothes on a washboard, beat rugs, grind herbs, spices and coffee beans, do "pretend" ironing and cooking at the hearth, make bread dough, and string apple slices for drying. So much work to do...so much fun!
Recommended for kids 6 to 10 years old.
