The Hendersonville Arts Council is currently accepting applications for exhibits in 2009. The exhibits will be displayed in the HAC galleries located in historic Monthaven, 1154 West Main Street in Hendersonville. The gallery features ongoing exhibits throughout the year that change on a regular basis.

The Council is dedicated to promoting the talents of artists that work in all media visual art, crafts, and sculpture. Watercolors, oils, acrylics, etc. are displayed throughout the year. Applications will be accepted until September 15, 2008.

Solo exhibits, two person and/or group exhibitions are encouraged to apply. Gallery exhibits are based on quality of work as well as professionalism. Applicants are asked to submit an artist resume with current information, artist statement and 8 to 10 slides of their work. Applications should be mailed to the Hendersonville Arts Council, P.O. Box 64, Hendersonville, TN 37077-0064.

Regular gallery hours are Monday through Friday, 9:00am-3:00pm. The exhibits are made possible with the help of the Tennessee Arts Commission and the National Endowment for the Arts.
